Alpha-Lipoic Acid forte Xenico^® is a high quality preparation containing highly bioavailable alpha-lipoic acid in an active and unprocessed form in the highest dose of 600 mg. This acid is naturally produced in the human body in small quantities. The acid belongs to the omega-3 family and is essential for the proper functioning of the human body. This acid is unique in that it supports free radical scavenging and can function in both aqueous and fatty environments. It can also process the antioxidants vitamin C and E, thereby prolonging their effect.
